Senior Sales Representative
The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic relationships with potential customers across our various segments of business.
The role will involve a consultative sales approach, requiring deep knowledge of both OPL and vended business models. Responsibilities span the entire sales process from identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to finalizing installations and providing customer training.
Territory: Rockland, NY, Westchester, NY, and Bronx, NY
Responsibilities:
Management of the existing customer relationships within territory with a focus on growing sales and market share in the marketplace
Read and interpret technical specifications, architectural drawings, and construction plans.
Maintain, grow, and manage the pipeline funnel of deals to create sales orders.
Execute in-market activities including investor events and cold calling.
Participate in sales calls, conduct sales meetings, and educate inventors and store owners to support the business.
Record all site visits daily with detailed notes for CRM management. Provide CRM updates to advance the sales process.
Prospect, manage and close new business opportunities within your given territory.
Continually monitor key competitors within your assigned territory. Collect, analyze, and report information about any changes in competitors' activities that will impact the company's position in the territory. Suggest actions to mitigate the impact and improve the company's position in the marketplace.
Build customer relationships with prospective customers.
Articulate solutions in terms of ROI to the client by establishing pain points through the consultative sales process.
Skills/Education needed:
3+ years of sales experience in prospecting: new business development, or direct sales
A background in equipment sales, construction, or machinery sales is a strong plus
High school diploma or GED required.
